Security Escort Officer

• Maintain continuous positive control of assigned individuals;

• Maintain uninterrupted visual observation of escorted personnel;

• Prevent unauthorized movement beyond approved work areas;

• Verify proper badge display before entry into security-controlled areas;

• Ensure escorted personnel comply with site security procedures;

• Maintain communication with the Site Security Organization;

• Immediately notify the Site Security Organization when conditions exist

that may require work to be suspended in order to maintain security

compliance;

• Challenge unauthorized activities in accordance with site procedures;

• Escort personnel from designated security-controlled areas upon

completion of assigned work.

• Maintain a Q/L Clearance

• Must be cognizant of continuous site changes to ensure knowledge of escorting

requirements are maintained throughout the project.

• Escort personnel shall remain attentive at all times and shall not perform

construction, maintenance, inspection, or administrative duties unrelated to

escort responsibilities.
